The school has had strong links with the Commeniusschule, Kassel, Germany and with Collège Joseph Niel, Toulouse, France for six years.   Each year, groups from Arran High School spend a week in Kassel or in Toulouse (and in a few cases, both!).

 

During SQA examination leave in May we host pupils from both schools simultaneously.   Normally around 35 pupils spend a week with us.   In June 2007 we were also delighted to host two staff and three senior pupils from CES Guadiato, Peñarroya, Spain.

 

All of the above schools are participants in a Comenius project which was renewed in 2008/2009.   The theme of the new project is “our musical heritage” which will suit Arran well!
